Development at MOL

The MOL Co. Central Europe ’s leading oil company and the S&T Unitis Hungary Ltd.’s specialists together developed the MOL’s new staging system, which supports data service of the subsidiaries.
The company’s solution built on the SAP BI data warehouse and SAP Enterprise Portal- assisted by Workflow- assures the data reception, control, than load the improved data into data target.

In March 2008 the MOL Co’s more than 40 subsidiaries already used the newly made report system to register the January and February data facts. During the first part of the project’s realization the subsidiaries’ prepared the system to receive and maintain the human resources, assortment, sales and project’s monthly plans, facts and its expected data.
The solution’s flexibility enable the functionality’s quick expansion and extension to the MOL’s other business fields and subsidiaries.

To the reception of the arriving data and to his storage the system provides help, and here runs the permission supporter workflow too- added to it Kurin Andreán the S&T Unitis Hungary senior SAP BI, NetWaver Consultant.
The solution supports three different type of data input: Web Service, file interface, manual. The processing of the data load, the monitoring, the check and approval happens on the Enterprise Portal. The staging layers DSOs (Data Store Object) will accomplish, from which ones the data are found on the new BI data filling manner (DTP/Transformation) following the licensing process row onto designate data aims, into the SAP BI info cubes.
