S&T Austria: New Country Manager Damianos Soumelidis

Damianos Soumelidis takes over the management of S&T in Austria

Damianos Soumelidis (47) has been appointed as Country Manager of S&T Austria GmbH. In this key role, Soumelidis will strive to enhance S&T’s strong position as the leading listed Austrian IT services and consulting group. Soumelidis on his new challenge: ”I will continue to focus on my principle, leadership by trust and on my strategy to manage S&T on the basis of a future-oriented combination of innovation and profitability.”

Damianos Soumelidis has been employed at S&T Austria since January 2007, where he was initially responsible for Managed Services before being promoted to Head of the Infrastructure Solutions segment in Austria. Before joining S&T he was previously Chief Operating Officer at EDS Austria and held various management positions at Bull Computer and Compaq.

“Damos Soumelidis has made a crucial contribution to the positive development of our Austrian subsidiary during the past three years. In his new position as Country Manager he is going to work even more intensively on the expansion of the services and outsourcing portfolio as well as taking care of our major Austrian clients,” comments Christian Rosner, CEO S&T Group.
